Yash Johar is a renowned Hindi film producer, who was born on June 26, 2004 in Amritsar, Punjab, India. The famous producer of Hindi films is known for some blockbuster movies such as Dostana, Duplicate, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and various other movies. He was born in Khatri family. His film was focus for some best locations and featuring Indian cultures He was the father of popular bollywood film maker Karan Johar. He was died on 26 June 2004 in Mumbai, due to chest infection.  

Career:

He had a passion to write story for the film and luckily he started his career in the film industry as a story writer. He was also interested to get in to production and he got opportunity to work with Sunil Dutt for Ajanta Arts. He assisted Sunil Dutt in film Mujhe Jeene Do. After that he got opportunity to work for Navketan Films, where he worked for many films such as Hare Rama Hare Krishna, Jewel Thief, Prem Pujari, Guide, and many other movies.

After working with these production houses, he soon launched his own production house Dharma Productions. Dostana was the first movie produced by Dharma Productions and the movie got huge success at the box office. Yash Johar’s Dharma production also known for the movie like Agneepath, Gumrah and Duplicate. In year 1998, Dharma production produced Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai and the film was biggest hit. Karan Johar made his directorial debut by this film. After that Karan Johar produced many blockbusters.
