Sonu Sood Is Replaced By Prakash Raj In Dabangg 2
After huge success and wonderful box office record of Salman Khan starrer Dbangg, producer Arbaaz Khan now planning to rock again on silver screen with Dabangg 2. It is expected that the movie will include the same star casts, but Sonu Sood will not be available to play the villainous character of Chedi Singh. Arbazz Khan, who also played the character of Makhi in Dabangg, came with clarification that the script of the film is written in different manner and doesn’t allow to cast Sonu once again. In stead of that he approached Prakash Raj, a veteran actor in South films, to play the villainous role.
While talking to media person Arbaaz clearly revealed his plan
He said, “I appreciate Sonu’s performance in Dabangg, he performed beyond expectation. As far as Dabangg 2, he himself expressed that he might not fit in the character and then we mutually decided to cast Prakash Raj, who has damming personality and suitable for villainous character for upcoming flick Dabangg 2.”
Dabangg was released in 2010 and became biggest hit of the year. It starred Salman Khan as a police inspector and Sonu Sood as a Chhedi Singh, who is a young politician. Sonu got huge acclamation for his bold dialogues and brilliant performance in the film.
As far as Prakash’s concerned, he has already shared screen space with Salman Khan in Wanted, now it will be second movie that will bring them against each other on the silver screen.
The 44-year old actor turned producer also said that, “Sonu is a talented actor as a well as good human being and we shared lots of funny and memorable moments on the set of Dabangg. I can hope the professional tie up with him for future.”
